♥Featured 12/28/09 in Polish Place 1990 Series ©beauTonian arts collection Original Artwork / Black & White in Charcoal & Graphite / High Resolution Photo / Has been Printed in Canvas / Prefer cards printed on Arondo Donax (tree free!) / Orginal Print still in collection / Artist can be contacted for limited signed editions printed on arondo donax One of those “In the Moment” moments here… I was with a group of people when i drew this and it was an amazing experience watching it appear on the paper in no more than 20 minutes like i had drawn it from one of those magic pads from the late 70’s, where you just scribble over the page and an image appears. it is my favorite to this day for that reason, and technically it was super difficult to leave the white feathers appear while drawing around the blank paper the detailed tangled bramble of roots. I call this “no rEgrets” to symbolize living my life by following my heart, appreciating the inspirations, love and beauty around me to the fullest extent ps to my new polish group… gabryshak used to be written gabriziok with the two dots over the o~ grandfather was 100% polish, his father came over from the highlands in the navy, settling first in wisconsin, then grandpa, later also was part of the navy and settled in washington state

This rusting hulk of Studebaker is near the I-40 exit for Petrified Forest and Painted Desert National Parks. I identified the maker by searching on the internet and located this picture of it which identified it as a Studebaker. I am wondering when that photo was taken because it looked nowhere near as rusty as it did when I photographed it.
