I had a great day with the Family at Shellharbour today. Took a whole heap of photos. This is a sunset shot, I think the colours came out wuite nice. I also like the rays of light from behind the clouds. There will be lots more photos posted from the trip over the coming days. Cheers Alex

Part of the shoreleine off the Shellharbour Area has these crazt rock formations. Made up of Volcanic Rock and solidified Lava, it is Millions of years old. Time and erosions have left its mark on this Landscape. I was absolutely amazed at the straight lines. There are still more photos in this Series to come.

Taken near Shellharbour, NSW, just sout of Wollongong. I was completely amazed at these naturally occuring lines. I have also seen these down at Coalcliff. I think it has got something to do with the way the lava solidified after it hit the ocean. Maybe someone could shine some more light on this… Please.

Dawn yesterday morning at Mt Clear in the Namadgi NP. My helpful assistant was up with me watching the sunrise. This is a three frame HDR … I took another couple of series of the sunrise (as you do…) but I really liked this one with my assistant in frame … it lends a sense of scale to the place …that’s him in the colourful beanie in lower left ;) ... it was a superb day too :)
