I was blown away with this shot when I took a closer look… Taken at Roma St Parkland, Brisbane in the Spectacle Garden. This bird was jumping around inspecting all the flowers for pollen/ nectar, i was chasing him carefully, trying to get a better shot, of my many, and the standout picture of the day. Taken with a Lensbaby 3G for Nikon.

a couple of days ago, i killed my iPhone / by dropping it in the water… / which was good, because i had / a perfect excuse to go out and get a new iPhone 3G… / :D :D :D / on top of that, i downloaded toy camera / to my new and totally awesome iPhone. it rained and i drove around yesterday… / oh my gosh~ the toy camera application / is even better than new 3G itself… only downside to all the excitement / was that i rear ended a car while taking a pic… :P now my car’s in the shop pretty badly racked… / the engine wouldn’t start… / it sparked and smoked quite a bit… scared me… / thanks to that i got to stand out in the rain / while waiting for the police, ambulance, and towing truck to come… / quite a day i had… i am bruised, sore, stiff, and miserably achy since last night, / but i’ve captured some cool toy camera shots !!! / :D .

Isnt it always the way. I put my LensBaby on & went for a walk & this Dragonfly flew past me & caught an insect above my head & then settled on this tree to eat it.
