Docking at various Greek Islands, I could’nt tear myself away from the actual ports, as to me they provided the visual interest. Awesome signage and colour coded curbs, along with industrial qualities proved and endless escape for me.

I sold a laminated print through Redbubble – August 2008 This is the coloured version Tank traps on Stockton bight, a series of sand dunes north of Newcastle. This was one of the last shots taken yesterday at New Brighton on the Wirral. The lighting was great, I could not go wrong, and did not want to go home. / Taken with my D300 10-20 Sigma lens, on my Manfretto Tripod 7 Shot HDR processed in Dynamic Photo and sharpened in NX2 and saved as a jpeg.

The Himba People live in Northern Namibia and Southern Angola, and are one of the last pastoral groups living in Southern Africa. Himba ladies are renowned for their smooth, reddish skin, and even the elderly are wrinkle-free. The effect is achieved by daily applications of an ochre-colored clay mixed with ash and animal fat. This lady was photographed at Epupa Falls, Northern Namibia on the Angola border.
