/ in the group Your Country’s Best October 2009 This little statue shows a little boy on his bike with school books in hand and his little dog following This statue is along the south side of the historic 25th street in Ogden, Utah
Saturday was Ogden City’s Harvest Moon Festival. There were all sorts of activities going on along with the Farmer’s Market where I am with our vegetable stand every Saturday. I took a few minutes break from selling veggies and walked down 25th street. The whole street was blocked off and this band was set up and playing music. I noticed these little girls in the front dancing and having so much fun. I wanted them to be the focus so I decided to do selective coloring on the things in the picture that I wanted to emphasize. The girls dancing, the musicians and the mountain in the background.
This was also taken at the 2009 Ogden’s Harvest Moon Festival. Tables were set up in the street with food venders around. I thought it a unique view of our regular 25th street. I also used selective coloring here to emphasize the tables all decked out in linen and vases with flowers.
