Translucent pink- red bloom back-lit by summer’s sunshine. A Rose Mallow or hibiscus flower lasts less than a day, but each plant will be in bloom for up to 6 weeks. Some Hibiscus are semi-tropical while others do well farther north- and they range from small (4”) to large (8”+) blooms in white, pink or red. Some yellow and purple hybrids are available.

It’s quite overwhelming to me that 22,222 views have taken place of my photos in six months since I joined, although I know other members have had far more than that, it still makes me feel very humbled. / It also seems like a good point to start thinning out the number of shots I’ve uploaded, as I hope I’ve improved from looking at other members photos and some of the older ones seem pretty rubbishy now. / Many thanks to all the friends I’ve made. for the encouragement you’ve given me and to RB for making it possible. / Now….where’s that delete button?
