  • This was taken at Sheep River Falls, Alberta when several kayakers came through. Some portaged around the falls. A couple of them made the jump.

  • We added this conservatory to our home four years ago and what a gift it has been! Rain or shine, we can so fully appreciate the beauty God has given us in the surrounding cathedral of towering fir trees, and, in the warmer months, the radiant colors of the garden flowers.   • A re edit of a pic I already have on here which was a HDR image, trying to steer away from it unless I find it appropriate. I like this one better in a lot of ways sometimes it’s better not to see all the hidden details. Processed in Adobe Lightroom 2. Gear out in the field – Canon 400D, Velbon tripod, 10-22mm lens, shutter release, nd grad filter.   • This is a series I started shortly after my older brother Darren’s wedding in March this year. / I couldn’t afford a wedding present for him and I felt terrible about it, so I decided to start drawing a belated wedding present for them. / This is the work that I am most proud of to date. / I started the first one in April and finished the last one in June. / It was an epic body of work that I had to keep going back to between commisions.
