Taken at Pink Lakes National Park, South Australia
Not sure if its the expression or the movement of the toy that captivates me. Lord Lexi or ‘Sir Poop Alot’ playing with his button toy. Thank you for looking.
Holywell Bay, Cornwall One of my favourite places on the planet. Holywell Bay is a small village on the north coast of Cornwall about 5 miles from Newquay (and 5 miles from Perranporth). Holywell Bay beach is a large, sandy beach with rolling dunes behind the beach, rock pools and a slow running stream. Breathtakingly beautiful!
Last glimpse of the setting sun. Coolangatta, Queensland. Dedictated with love to my sister Sharon Finlay who we lost at only age 42 to breast cancer 2 weeks before this capture. To be sent an image so beautiful at such a time of despair was and is inspiring for those of us who are left to carry on. Of all my images offered to RB bubbler friends this is the one I hold most dear x Thank you for looking.
Tallow Beach, Byron Bay. From Cape Byron lighthouse. More here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byron_Bay Thank you for looking.
A chilly walk to the top of the hill Sunday, 1st of June … officially winter here now the sunset was glorious, once set it was freeeezing! Central West Slopes & Plains, rural NSW. Thank you for looking.
Fistral Bay, Newquay, Cornwall. Thank you for looking.
Taken on a back dirt road from Narrabri, rural NSW. Thank you for looking.
How rude lol!! I had to laugh at this goats antics, I’m sure it was because I was taking lots of pictures of Mini Moo, he lives in the same paddock! Rural NSW Thank you for looking.
Taken just along the coast from Busselton WA, such a glorious spot to do a little fishing clear, clear unspoilt waters! Thank you for looking.
This was captured at a quite strange place. The trees are sort of submerged in water! There is a bird lookout here, at Forbes, central NSW which I imagine may be teeming with great captures at dusk or dawn … I ambled along mid day (as usual for me) and saw these two trees who touched me, seemingly supporting each other as all around falls apart. Thank you for looking.
Canola crop, Central West slopes & plains, NSW. Thank you for looking.
........... my babies got blue eyes :D My first attempt all be it clumsily at SC having wanted to have a go for ages. Thank you for looking.
What would we do without neighbours with beautiful gardens! This is part of an old rusty gate that has been put to pasture in a flower bed. Thank you dear Lorraine :D And thank you for looking.
No more singing for this one! Thank you for looking.
Indian Peacock, peafowl. (Pavo cristatus) White peafowl are pure white, both sexes. Taken at Nowra Wildlife Park, NSW. Thank you for looking.

A five month old baby Koala taken at Nowra Wildlife Park NSW, on my recent travels. Thank you for looking!
Taken just beyond the Mundi Mundi lookout 6 kilometres outside of Silverton, near Broken Hill, NSW. Further on is the Umberumberka Reservior. The views are vast across the Mundi Mundi plains, the road seemingly never ends as it wends it’s way through the outback. Thank you for looking.
Apostlebirds Struthidea cinerea More Here Taken on my recent travels as the sun rose, Silverton, NSW Thank you for looking.
When it gets to the nitty gritty, when you only have yourself to pull you through. I think we have all been there, we cover our faces & hold ourselves together till we part our fingers and look again toward the light. “Telling me the dangers passed / I need not feel the icey blast again” Undertow Genesis here I thought I’d try something totally different from my norm for the “Stillness Speaks’ challenge ‘Depression’. Thank you for looking.
Another of the historical buildings in Silverton, outback NSW. Taken as the sun was rising. Silvertons history here There was a strong Methodist presence in Silverton in the 1890s. / The Methodist Church that stands here today was built in 1885 as a place of worship for Presbyterians. When the original Methodist Church was destroyed in by strong winds in 1891, the Presbyterians gladly sold their building, owing to them being outnumbered. Thank you for looking.
First ever image from my new camera an EOS 50D I always christen new equipment on my parrots LOL. This is Tiko the Terrible a Green Cheek Conure hand raised by me as a companion bird. Tiko is sweet, funny & cuddly, loving to snuggle up close. He has not been sold though as he’s prone to body piercing ô¿ô latterly my lip! Be afraid, very afraid .. well look at that beak!.. LOL Thank you for looking.
Not sure what to call a mass of dear little Cockatiels .. I know a collection of Geese is a gaggle LOL. These little mates are happiest snuggled up in close proximity as they would be in the nest. If we had movies on RB you would see them swaying together like a rolling sea. EOS Rebel, Canon EF 28-135mm lens Thank you for looking.
