I was at Langstone Habour one morning, it was overcast and cloudy, I fed the ducks and started to walk back to the car but the sun started to come out and the clouds broke up and amazingly blue sky started to appear. This is what i was able to capture…..... I was amazed at how quickly the sky changed from grey and miserable to this lovely blue sky and white clouds.

I was on the other side of Langstone Harbour still looking across at The Royal Oak pub and the walkway to the pond where I usually go. It looks so different from this side and much later in the day. Again i love the reflections.
-
I was going through some of my photos (no surprise there, lol) and came across this lovely one of the windmill when the tide is actually in. It makes the whole picture look toatlly different.

It was so nice on Saturday that lots of youngsters were out in their kayaks practising, it was great hearing their shouts of joy and giggling during the brief respite from all the winter wind and rain.

The sun was still out and I took this shot from Langtsone Habour looking the other way towards Chichester, again taken on Saturday 12-01-08.

DIGITAL SPACES (IN, BETWEEN AND OUT) series represents the result of exploring of urban architecture, phenomenon of loneliness and absence of human beings within the city, trough different art media, and this time in form of photography, with inevitable digital manipulation. / Emphasizing and repeating of segments of architectural compositions, the feeling of alienation is intensified, and ever-present, material and tangible solitude is accentuated. Multiplying the textures, purposefully imposing the new walls, all for the sake of some fictive comfort, we are becoming more and more isolated, and limited by our own irrational wishes. We are limiting not only the physical, but also mental, emotional and intellectual space… / The buildings are showing up, unexpectedly, like ghosts are conquering that same space, and it doesn’t matter anymore whether they are real or imagined, what matters is that they are annulling the human presence and becoming self sufficient. / Work on this series has started in 2006. and is still in progress.

This ACEO is an original, NOT a reproduction. It is done on a heavy, lightly textured illustration board with acrylic paint in black and red. This ACEO is a one of a kind artwork by me and will never be reproduced. I am doing 100 “themed” ACEOs as a creative exercise. This is theme 17- “Blood”. A little darker than my usual art, but I like the way it turned out. Who is this mysterious woman? A benevolent ghost? An angry spirit? Card has been signed and dated on the back by me. Please note that the watermark in the image is NOT on the actual card.

This is from a larger work called ‘Forbidden Fruit’ comprising 25 groups of 5 images. This is the second image of group 4. The creative process begins with felt tip pen drawings on graph paper. These are then scanned into photoshop and digitally manipulated to create the effect of photographed installations. Whilst the content is clearly non-figurative and geometrically derived there is a genuine message to the work. I am either exposing to conscious inspection the archtypical patterns underlying ‘the meaning of life, the universe and everything’ or I’m “completely off my head”. In the final analysis it’s just a work of art.
