this was made with a program call 3d studio max. it came with a plug-in called hair, which aloud me to create hair. his name is blow dry. and he only took me 30 mins to make but over 24 hours to render! he was used it a short film that a final project at school.

Watercolour on A4 sized paper. Seaton Sluice is a picturesque little seaside village three miles down the coats from where we Iive. The colours and whimsicalism are mine though. I have been contemplating it for some time, I guess just trying to brush up on my skills first. / I believe that every artist must do at least one self portrait, so I figured my first would have to incorporate my first love, music into the theme. / This was somewhat of a challenge, firstly because this is the way people see me, whereas I am so used to seeing a mirrored version of myself; my eyebrow ring is on the right in the mirror and my scar on my chest from when both my lungs collapsed when I was 16, etc. / Also I realised that I hate drawing bloody guitars! the strings, frets and tiny numbers on the knobs are way too detailed even for my pool of patience. The guitar in Elvis Costello wasn’t so bad because i only had to do a tiny section of two of the strings, but ah oh well, these are the challenges we artists have to conquer in order to improve :) / I took my own reference photos using the timer on my digital camera, and lots of different poses. Here is a sample that I had to paint of some of these beautiful people of the world. / Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a digitizing tablet and stylus, and software. Digital painting differs from other forms of digital art, particularly computer-generated art, in that it does not involve the computer rendering from a model. The artist uses painting techniques to create the digital painting directly on the computer. / I create the painting, directly on my PC, by using a Wacom tablet, a stylus pen and ArtRage painting software. The Wacom tablet can be compared to a canvas or watercolor paper surface. The stylus pen is my paintbrush.
