It’s a Hot Rod Tiki!
Taken at the Hobart Hot Rod Show, March 22 2008. The best $15 I’ve spent in a long time :o) I’m not much of a rev head but man I love the curves on these old American classics. The paint jobs, the chrome, the leather, the taillights and the fluffy dice hanging from the rear view mirror…Mm Mmmmm This is the first of a series of Hot Rod shots I’ll be uploading over the coming weeks.
Another defunct mousepad design, I kind of love this one and plan it to be on a t-shirt very soon. Keep your eyes peeled…
A generous sneak peek! “When Ms McLean first asked me to be involved with this shoot, my gut reaction was to go pantless, but after having now viewed this amazing collection, it’s safe to say I’m glad she talked me out of it. If you don’t buy one of these, you hate puppies.” / Johnny Wishbone, The Snowdroppers

What better to spend your Veterans Day, than riding through town on bike, honoring those you served with. / This bike was actually owned by a soldier who went to Iraq and didn’t come home. His father now takes his sons bike on tour and raising money for soldiers families that lost a loved one.
I love shooting Classic Cars and Custom Bikes, but I like to just get pieces of the art rather than the whole piece. I will shoot a wide shot, but people miss the details and that’s where the art is.
What’s in a reflection? Whatever you see is in the reflection is what makes it as individual as you are. Everyone see’s something different, but it’s still art in it’s own way.

The term “Rockabilly” refers to the styles made popular in the late 1930s, the 1940s and early 1950s, the era in which Rock’n’Roll was formed.
Rockabilly has become something of a sub-culture movement as individuals who favor the styles, music and cars of the era.
Think massive sideburns, bowling shirts, peep toes and pencil skirts.
