Male Eclectus Parrot (Eclectus roratus) The male looks his best when in flight or displaying his underwings and flanks. / Found usually in rainforests, but ventures into adjoining eucalypt woodland to reach other areas of rainforest. / Small flocks roost in tall rainforest trees. In the morning, small groups, noisly move out to feed on big fruiting trees. What a character this guy was – makes me smile just to look at him!

Standing Tall by Wayne Holman

These trees maybe Ghost Gums and I’ve also heard them called Dingo Trees ( as they have no bark ! ) I may be wrong on both names but what I do know is that they are impressively tall, some reaching a hundred feet or more. / Taken a few years ago on my old 35mm film Canon.

Kate is a Brisbane singer ,songwriter,and entertainer who is an amazing performer. She posed for me for this portrait , which I entered in last year’s Archibald Prize. / This portrait has been displayed at the Real Refuses at the T.A. P. gallery in Sydney. / It is a very large painting (1.85cmx 1.25cm) which Is segmented into 24 rectangles—each one showing a different facet of Kate’s complex personality, while the Alice in wonderland refers to her many different personas as she performs.
