The “Gaia – The Living Planet” competition is now closed.
You can now join the group that will be the basis of our new competition “Compassion”, which opens on April 17th. “Gaia – The Living Planet” is now closed. We know, it’s a sad moment for all of us. But the good news is the judging is about to commence (we’ll be announcing the winners shortly)!

“Gaia – The Living Planet” is RedBubble's 2nd Issue. A premium journal containing the finest selection of writing and art on the net.
“Gaia – The Living Planet” will explore our precious foothold in the universe. This publication is for all of us who live on and love this earth.
» The Prizes and Categories
$2000 cash for the top written work and top image work.
There are five main categories:
- Poetry: Poems of under 500 words.
- (very) Short Stories: Short stories of under 500 words
- Photography
- Non-photographic digital images: includes digital art and graphic design
- Originals: scanned paintings and illustrations
Each category winner will receive a $200 RedBubble voucher and all published works will receive a $100 RedBubble voucher. All winners will also receive a copy of “Gaia – The Living Planet”.
All works must be on the theme “Gaia – The Living Planet”.
Judging. The editors, with assistance of external judges, will select overall winners and works for publication.
Works will be selected on how well they illuminate the theme: “Gaia – The Living Planet” and quality.
