Probably a silly question re 'UNselecting' tool...

Hmmm, I’ve been frustrated with this silly problem for a while but I can’t work out how to fix it, other than saving the work then opening up again. |

God, I knew it would be easy, I just couldn’t work it out! I’d tried every combination of Shit, Ctrl and Alt! Thanks heaps for that, picketty – much appreciated :)) |

Hi Colleen, An oft overlooked tool in PS is the Help menu. You can type in what you want ie: de-select etc and it will give you the details! |

Hi Karen – I do sometimes forget about it, though I’ve found it slows my laptop down quite a bit. I don’t know why, but it’s a real pain. I really must remember it’s there, though!. Many thanks for the reminder :)) |

Hi Colleen, You can also just click outside of the Rectangular Marquee, Elliptical Marquee and Lasso Tool to deselect the tools. The Polygonal and Magnetic Lassos with need Ctrl + D and so will the Single Row, and Single Column Marquee Tools. |

Many thanks, Alison – I’ve just noticed that! You guys rock :))) |
