Please view large / © 2009 Danilo Lejardi / Main fairy figure and her accesories were done in Cinema 4D; rest was done in Photoshop by blending layers and doing some digital painting. Main background image is RB artist jewelskings´s Fog No. 2. / Jewelskings in Redbubble / Jewelskings in Deviantart / Jewelstocks in Deviantart I felt so deeply in love with this image since the first time I saw it that couldn´t help but asking permission to jewelskings to use it here. Nevertheless, I think this image deserves much more attention _ and recognition_ by itself due to its own undeniable merits. / Thanks a lot jewelskings for letting me to work so close to this incredible image. I wait by the sea / we’ve never met / but our souls have been entwined / for centuries long / Your spirit spins through my heart / and through my core / like a cleansing rain / that fills the crevices left by time / Like music, you breath deep into me / sweeping away the bruises of life / with your love / I feel you when I close my eyes / and listen to the sound / that makes my heart sing yet yearn / for your presence / upon, within, around me / We may never meet / but I know you’re there / in this life / ....or another I wrote the poem first, but felt the need for an image to go with it, so here it is – this is a reworked version of Voyager Dreaming.
I scanned what was left of a failed image transfer which became the background and added the layered images in Photoshop.

The fate of a life, the path which is traveled, is it “written in stone”? This is a mixed media work done in photo shop with filters, cut ‘n paste, and textures / I used a photograph, but I don’t own it so I can’t sell this work it’s just to show. btw, if you are one who does photo manipulation, and you call filter work digital painting, you are wrong. this is NOT digital “painting” it’s not computer “painting” either. In fact, it’s NOT painting at all. This is called photo manipulation. It really bugs me and other digital painter when people call it painting.
