The beauty of the ocean is that there are almost limitless ways of showcasing its different moods and characteristics. The incoherent turbulence is always present especially at the shore where waves end their journey. Low angle and long shutter speed and of course picking up the camera just before the water reached me. Setting sun lights up a mountain at Wicca Lake in the rugged Valhallas. This little pool of water separated by a thin strip of land is calm compared to the rest of the lake and made for a perfect reflection. / Valhalla Provincial Park, West Kootenays near Slocan, B.C.

I was inspired to do this shot when working on another photo in Photoshop tonight. I kept getting the warning that Windows had encountered a problem and had to close down. Well, after trying to get a restore point happening three times and failing, I re-installed Photoshop. Then opened the pic I had now worked on and lost twice only to get the same bloody warning. Well, all is sorted now. Seems it was a fault in the photo I was working on coz this one got a heap of stuff done to it and YIPPIE, NO MORE WARNINGS.
