My interest in photography began when I was just 12 years old after borrowing my mother’s new Canon EOS Rebel XT camera. I was immediately hooked. I am fortunate to have grown up on the island of Maui, Hawaii, where the remarkable beauty and diversity of nature and people have given me an endless supply of subjects to photograph.

Nice, Zach. I like the 2×1 format to emphasize the breadth of the scene. It almost looks like some random water flowing over the forest floor rather than an established stream!

  • Thank you! That look is what I was shooting for!!
