Stuck!

I had a great day. The community was doing light up for Christmas so I had to work the late shift from noon until 9 but that left me the morning to go shoot. It was crisp and clear so i went and got some shots of the rising sun up the mountain.

The mountains around here at this time of year of course have snow even though we have nothing down low. So off i go by myself to take pictures up the mountain and sure enough I get my truck stuck way up there.

I’m well prepared though…. NOT. Runners, a light leather jacket and no gloves. I spent 20 minutes digging out before I could get back on the path and finally made it.

Looks Like I’m going to have to dig out the winter kit for the back of the vehicle and maybe buy some chains.

I love it here.

Al, I’m quite fortunate it only took 20 minutes it would have been a long walk down.

Geoffrey, My little sister lives in Thompson, I know how cold it gets out there. We have it pretty nice here on the west coast. It only snows a couple times a year but it feels like it neer stops raining though.
