Griswold's Bed

Griswold had made his own bed. I think he forgot that. Yet, he continued to piss in it on a regular basis and suffer the consequences of sleeping on his own defunct sheets. I suspect he had coils with rust stains poking him in the ass as he snored. Rather than attempt to purchase a fancy pillow top or something more comfortable, he just preferred to enjoy the illusion that his life was wrought with no other choice.

Love this Z! Great take on “you made the bed, now lie in it”…basically it’s the truth. I have to say the first thing that popped in my head was…is this about Clark Griswold…lol! Silly thought, but wonderful write! E

I call this “the-chair-in-the-middle-of-the-room” syndrome : everyone bumps or trips or complains but never thinks that there is a simple solution; everything need not be as it always was but “choice” is not part of the vocabulary. Well done, Z!
