This a simple, yet eloquent image. Deadly razorwire slashs across what were once fertile fields and lush meadows. The open, free places are now divided and contained. Attmept to exit or enter at your peril.
The land may be divided, but our spirits can still soar. Those of us who’ve been through times of violence and change, and coming out the other side of the fire know suffering either destroys us, or drives us deeper. Base metals are burnt off, pure gold remains. We are the phoenix rising from the ashes.
