St Christopher is a SCOD designed, in the 1950s by the redoubtable Charles Nicholson of the Camper and Nicholson company.
The South Coast One Design (SCOD) has become one of the most enduring symbols of classic boating in the UK, 90% of those built are still giving their owners wonderful cruising and racing.
Designed to give a maximum speed of 6kts, in mine and rigged with just the working sails, I personally flew across the Bay of Biscay and in a period of 21 hours, averaged 6.5 kts.
