My vector drawing of the Cadillac 1926 Roadster.

No image may be reproduced, copied, edited, published, or uploaded without my permission.

Information from Wikipedia:
“Cadillac was formed from the remnants of the Henry Ford Company when Henry Ford departed along with several of his key partners and the company was dissolved. With the intent of liquidating the firm’s assets, Ford’s financial backers William Murphy and Lemuel Bowen called in engineer Henry M. Leland of Leland & Faulconer Manufacturing Company to appraise the plant and equipment before selling them.
Instead, Leland persuaded them to continue the automobile business using Leland’s proven single-cylinder engine. The company needed a new name after Henry Ford left. On 22 August 1902 the company reformed as the Cadillac Automobile Company. Leland & Faulconer Manufacturing and the Cadillac Automobile Company merged in 1905.
The Cadillac automobile was named after the 17th-century French explorer Antoine Laumet de la Mothe, Sieur de Cadillac, who founded Detroit in 1701.
Cadillac’s first automobiles, the Runabout and Tonneau, were completed in October 1902.”

I have opened a shop with CafePress to sell some of my designs on clothing, iPhone & laptop cases, jewellery and lots more:

  • Thank you Luda :0
Going on from our discussion I don’t use the trace bitmap at all but use the drawing systems to produce a completely independent drawing :)

this is different, I did this yesterday, before learning about tracing. I found parameters, which makes a big difference in tracing, But what really makes a difference is the basic image and how wide is color space is used. I took some simple images ( vector data from web), they went with no issues, very simple, however my photo images have hi dynamic range and it’s make everything very complicated, if I pass scan, program crush later.

  • I put a photo of my ‘Lady of Lourdes’ acrylic painting through the tracing at 300 scans. The colouring in the painting is very simple and the scan results were quick but very blurry – I think I will stick to my drawing system :):)
