It shows the Royal Prince, that has run aground and surrounded by Dutch ships, she surrenders. The outcome is that the Dutch fleet set fire to the Royal Prince and she is totally destroyed.
The Royal Prince was a 92-gun first-rate ship of the line built by Phineas Pett I at Woolwich and launched in 1610. She was the first ship of the line with three complete gun decks,
