Pepe-Guiseppe and Sheba-Rebecca in a world of their own.

Pepe was saved after being abandoned in Craguesti, Romania, Sheba was saved from a skip in Drobeta Turnu Severin, Romania and since their first meeting, have been lovers in arms.

What a great photo of two lucky cats. Unfortunately, the two I have now are not really pals, but I have had cats in the past that were just like these two.

  • Thank you Suzanne :)
It is wonderful to watch them together.

Wow! That’s quite a Menagerie! You must live in a house in the countryside(am I right?) I guess if I did I would have more pets as well, cause you’re right about them being wonderful:-)

  • Sorry about the delay Robyn, life is very complicated :)
We have a flat in town and are restoring an old peasant cottage in the countryside.
We have been working on the house for 3 years and we believe that it and the surrounding countryside is fabulous, even though the village is about 500 years behind England (in everything).
We still haven’t got a bathroom (bath, shower, toilet, wash hand basin), kitchen, sewage provision, made-up roads or drainage ……
For 3 years we have been striving to get piped water (water supplies are still as they were 500 years ago) the main supply being an open tank, supplied by a spring. This has been providing water for many generations and it is shared by horses, cattle and any kind of animal, plus humans of course (for drinking, laundry and all domestic uses).
A 50mm (ext) pipe has now been installed in the village and this supplies water from other springs. For some weeks we have been connecting to this pipe and yesterday we had our first piped water on our property (all be it still 100m from the house.
Our animals are our joy (most of the time) and make us smile through all the aches, pains and hardships that we endure to live in a wonderful place.
    Best wishes
