Taken on the east coast of england (Yorkshire) (Withensea) this sea bird manages to take off from one of the groynes just as the wave crashes into the shoreline.
Minimal post shot editing, a little saturation, sharpening and cropping.

This is my most favotrite shot that I have taken. It was a dismal dreary day, raining on and off and the sea was quite rough. I was pleased that at least one of the many shots I took that day came out well.
