Nant Francan Valley
Probably my favorite mountain pass in the Snowdon National Park, when you climb up to one of the lakes at this end of the Pass you can see right down the valley to Angelsey. Stunning, foreboding, dramatic there are not enough words to describe the splendour of this pass.

What a stunning view.
Is this the same Snowdonia of the Arthurian legend? It certainly looks like a fitting landscape for such a story. Absolutely beautiful Glen! (and probably cold…even now!)
Glen Allen replied
HI, Yup this is the Snowdonia of the Arthur legend allthough I am unsure how it all fits together, my history on legends such as this is very rusty. :o)

Vlad Savin
Stunning shot mate. I also would have loved to see a 2nd image without the rock formation in the foreground and shot from a higher angle, just out of curiosity. This one is still well captured though.
Glen Allen replied
Thanks Vlad, I have one like that with less of the stone wall in the foreground but felt this added a little foreground interest. Who knows I might post it sometime too. Thanks for the comments I really appreciate them.
