It was actually a mundane shot taken on a very overcast daY, I tweeked it in the RAW converter and got this result.

LOL Thanks, it was quite boring originally, but the wonders of photoshop transformed it at least into something I like.

Thank you. this is one of my earlier attempts at image manipulation and I have alwys liked it.

The original image was a flat boring grey image with no merity at all, but i liked the texture in the wethered wood and wanted a way of presenting that. i must admit I stumbled upon this solution rather than set out to get it, but then hey thats how it happens sometimes isnt it.
