Wavebreakers
Taken at spurn point, these eroded groynes/wavebreakers wers partially submerged in the sea. I then decided the image would work better as an abstract, so did a bit of messing about in PS.

Nice shot… a nice bright day would do the same too. Looks like the poles are dark.. so the lighting meter would compensate for the details to be seen. I like how they get smaller and the set up.
Glen Allen replied
It was actually a mundane shot taken on a very overcast daY, I tweeked it in the RAW converter and got this result.
Thanks for comments and looking at my work, much appreciated.

LOL Thanks, it was quite boring originally, but the wonders of photoshop transformed it at least into something I like.

Artists used to handle with brushes and pencils, nowadays you have to handle with photshop ;-)
Glen Allen replied
It is right, it is my way of artistic expression.

Great image – abstracting the posts has worked well!
Glen Allen replied
The original image was a flat boring grey image with no merity at all, but i liked the texture in the wethered wood and wanted a way of presenting that. i must admit I stumbled upon this solution rather than set out to get it, but then hey thats how it happens sometimes isnt it.
