    Thank you kim, Glad you like it. There are various ways mostly by plug-in’s in PS and there are stand alone programmes which usually have lots more options that the plug-ins to give more creative control. Corel do one if you take a look at their web site.

    good thing i don’t know anything about van gogh then. :) actually i have seen some of his work in person. it’s pretty neat. but then this looks just the same to me, just as beautiful in its impressionist style.

    We were in Amsterdam in March and had been learnign more anbout him prior to that. I was particualrly impressed by his early work which seems not to get the same attention as his starry night, wheet fields and sunflowers, however My “Boots” image is what I really wanted to produce after our visit to the Van Gogh Museum.
