The second in my series of watercolours inspired by vintage erotic photography. The image I used as a reference for this painting is from somewhere, as far as I can tell, in the 1910’s.
The original was painted on Bristol paper 210 by 295 mm, 210g/m² using a mixture of cakes and tubes from Talens, Hama, Mont Martre and for the first time a tube of Winsor & Newton. I must admit, I was blown away by the texture and feel of the latter!
Painstakingly scanned and retouched to get a nice and clean reproduction as close as possible to the original painting.
