Some years ago, in a small fishing village in China, a village who’s name I forgot, we came across this scene that I found captivating. There was something about this old, battered wall and this writing that I just had to capture on film, ehr, chip. Of course, I have no clue what so ever of what is written on this wall. :)

I’m publishing it now as I’m considering it for a very large print on my own wall, a place since a few days held by a print of the Terracotta army of Xi’an.

Shot in the olden days of (and with) my Minolta Dimage 7Hi

“The website needs to be updated or fixed” translated by two Taiwanese work colleges.

  • It says that on a wall in an old fishing village where a website is as far as I would think completely uknown? Wow….
    Cheers!

    Village, change the network

oops just saw my typo in the first post. I asked 2 people that work with me and they both said the same thing. It is written in simple Chinese. Strange!!! But still fantastic.

  • It really says “The website needs to be updated or fixed”. Incredible!

interesting work ! it is about state grid to be updated.China has a rule, everything, big or small about gv.policy to be walled.

  • State grid makes more sense then “website”! Cheers for the translation & comment.
