I know a flying eye isn’t exactly incredibly original, nor is the wordplay as I learned after a quick search on Google. I guess it’s kind of evident. But let me start this story from the beginning…
A long, long time ago, I guess somewhere in the last decade of the previous century, I started dabbling with t-shirt designs. In much of my work, then and today, eyes played an important role. However, I was lacking experience in, well, lots, and so ended up hand painting my t-shirts. I gave up after 3 attempts. This being my final one:

I know it turned yellow from age, but never mind that. I liked the design well enough, but not my “skill” at painting on cotton.
So, fast forward to the present day where I do have experience in designing and vector graphics and hence, a whole new set of tools at my disposal! I decided to give my old “flying eye” design another chance, et voila, this is what came out of it:

Sufficient to say that, I at least, like this one a lot better. :)
I had a variant on this one in my head too that never saw the light (or must I say the cotton), but now that I drew this one I’m going to give it’s twin another chance too…
I’m also wondering if I should upload a version without the text… suggestions welcome. :)
