The Nazca Booby, Sula granti, is a booby which is one of the many interesting inhabitants of the Galápagos Islands. As just about all animals on these islands, they aren’t afraid of you, as this shot taken with my Lumix LX3 at 60mm proves.
Except for a slight levels correction to correct a very slight under exposure, this shot is straight out of the LX3 set on natural film mode.
It’s one of my favourites that I brought home from the Galapagos Islands. I love the colours & the composition, not to mention… the stare. ;)

Interesting looking bird, it looks like it has a mask on!!!
A a matter of fact, these fellows are related to the “Masked Booby”. I can hardly tell hem apart but lucky our guide could. :)
