Skógafoss by Peter Zentjens

The Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s many, many magnificent waterfalls, albeit that this one is a little more impressive then your average waterfall. You can’t really see it’s size from this side, but the framing and the rainbow where, in my humble eyes, to beautiful to pass up!

Part of my first Impressions of Iceland calendar

Outstanding shot! Icelands on my list of must sees list WOW!

  • Keep it there! It’s very much worth it, as I’ll prove with my 3 calendars that I’ll publish from my 25 days trip last summer.

this is stunning! Must be amazing to be able to photograph such an impressive site

  • And to have the weather working wit you instead of against you as happens often there. ;)
    Cheers for the comment Alf!

Beautiful! (was this the one where you could walk right up to the edge, with the only thing ‘stopping’ you was the low rope which most of the visitor footprints were on the other side of?)

  • Haha, yes, I think it was, I seem to remember crossing a low rope. :)
But there was a clearly marked trail there and the “no go” areas were marked with something sturdier then rope. :)
    Cheers for the comment!
