The first painting in a new series I started this year. It’s an intimate series so I’m painting them small on an A5 size.

Watercolour (Talens dry and tube) on Bristol paper (210g/m²)
I sketched the outlines in pencil first, used a broad brush and very wet paint for the backdrop & a fine brush for the body that I painted dry. I used salt here and there and am very fond of my paper towel to remove paint every now and again.

A friend of mine saw this painting here on Redbubble and bought the original! So, only available as print any more. ;)

this is a great little watercolour Peter..very sensual and free flowing. Looking forward to seeing the rest!

  • Hi Linda, thank you very much.
The rest, at the moment, is only one other. I just started this series and I’ll see where my whim and brush will take me. :)
At the moment I’m debating painting another one of my flowers or a new anonymous nude. I think, however, that it’s about time I gave my flowers some attention again. ;)

This is lovely – but i’m not going there! :)
Glad you are painting again Pete – hope you make time for it everyday – if not at least every second day!
    Have fun with the paints.

  • Thank you my friend, and thanks again for the paint,
    but, I must confess, I didn’t paint yet. :(
Well, not with watercolour anyway, I did do a new painting with light though. ;)
