A while ago I received a commission to design a tattoo via my zTarot website. The client asked me to design him his own tarot card which should be a combination of the Magus and the Hanged Man, with extra accents on certain symbols. I mailed him a lot, asking tons of questions, and the end result was this card, the Hanged Magus, and, a very happy client. ;)

Painted in watercolour on paper. Original size about 11×20cm

Wow Pete, i think this is brilliant. I don’t now much about Tarot…but i think it’s wonderful, and so infused with your unmistakable style -the eyes have it!

  • Thank you Patricia, it means a lot to me that you like this little one.

    Hi Peter….
Looking is finding..I really did not know that you were so involved in Tarot.
I have tried to find your Tarot work in the link that you have giveng me… all the time remited me to the opening page
Well….little by little I am finding your works of art. And this is fantastic…they talk to me in such a different way. They are your own soul. I love that quality of the “eyes” that seem to invite to get into the interior world of your imagination
The symbols are there, yes, but dancing in a different background and at a different pace and rythms. I love your joy of Viriditas, that strength of Nature for disregarding our “human deeds” and make Life emerge even without our wishing….our our wasting….I love the tenderness and sense of humour of your work… the organic quality of the drawings, your contact with something that is full of grace and a different reality, full of life’ s self-confidence.
Will you submmit it to Tarot: Map of Consciousness
    Would be great.
    Have hug!

  • What is involved? With me, inspiration by and interest in crops up from time to time, and if it does, I always have my cards and books at hand to delve into. :)
What can I say, I always have been a sucker for symbolism.
Thank you again for an incredible lovely comment. I’ll submit this work later on to the group as I don’t like to upload two works in a row.
By the way, have you seen my third Tarot inspired work? ;)

I thank you for understanding that fact… the works, when loaded one by one with time and love, shine even more.
I do not think I have seen the third Tarot work…have you posted it in RB?
I bet for sure… I am going to look for it, Peter….if not you can link it to me in any of my comments or wherever.
    A hug for you!

  • The third one is Rebirth and is indeed here on RB.
Thank you again for all your kind words Rosa!
