We launched leggings! Step into a world of individuality.

On one of our many beautiful, beautiful hikes on the wonderful island of Madeira the eye of this gorgeous flower caught my eye. I love the combination of the aggressive roughness of the flower to be and the sheer beauty of the blooming poppy.

Stunning! Unusual angle makes it look like an eye!

  • I know, the resemblance is uncanny isn’t it?
Thanks for your lovely comment Helen.

The colour is fabulous, and a great contrast with the background. Great shot!

  • Thank you DesImages, for once I didn’t touch the colour, it’s straight out of the camera.

it looks like an eye – very interesting shot – vibrant colours too

  • Thank you Linda. I actually dug it up out of the archives as a reference shot for my next painting, but I like the photo by itself to much not to post it.

will look forward to seeing it as a painting!

  • It will be, of course, adapted to my “trademark” flower style, but when it will happen, I don’t know. So much to do, so little time. :(
