This is the best capture I’ve seen of the Pleiades, Sylvain. The background star field is so rich, and the nebulosities look frothy, almost three-dimensional. Gaps in the gas/dust lanes are clearly visible, and that’s probably what makes it look 3-D. To top it off, each of the cluster’s main stars is perfectly exposed.

    Another masterpiece!

  • Wow thank you very much Briar ! I was surprise to get so faint details after processing. The seeing was very bad this night and I still have a bit of noise but it’s not viewable on the small resolution for the web.
