beyond those shadowy eyes
and withering air,
who lives anywhere but home,
who’s home is anywhere but here?
Twisting realities and ties.
Who is that character
pooring over your lips,
the words dripping out like venom;
prancing gently on your tongue,
sliding expertly down your throat,
constricting and compacting
through the larynxe he goes,
sliding down the glowing pipe
that leads to the bed
of one’s mind,
turning the vastly intelligent material
to a soft and squishy nothing.
Who is a character
on the corner of my eye
hiding, running;
afraid to see me?
Who is a character
who ties his heart to mine?
who is he,
mysterious space?
