I was standing in this beautiful butterfly garden waiting for my wife/son when this red head just dropped in front of me. I love dragon flys and they have very special meaning to me. I smiled and grabbed my camera and he flew away.

I set it for the shot, and He flew right back. I loved the play on words with Time flies/Tempus Fugit. I will post one more of this guy soon! I also have quite a few solid shots I cant wait to share from California trip!

Tempus Fugit translated from Latin means: Time Flies:

Photo shot in raw using my Canon 40D. This is not a photomanipulation. Raw processing done with Canon Digital Photo Professional and Photo edits were done using Adobe 7.0.

Minor Photo Edits include: White balance setting/picture style, increased sharpness, & converted to JPEG. Updated Contrast/Brightness then cropped.

This photo was taken Palm Springs CA walking through a Butterfly Garden. I was excited how this came out with a nice Bokeh.
