Hot Legs

I absolutly love these long leg beautys. And on this 104’ day these were some hot legs! This is a young Reticulated Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis reticulata).

There is just something about the gorgeous soft tones of a Giraffes colors and geometric patterns. They are stunning creatures!

This shot really excited me cause of the details captured. if you look at his feet you can see he was running and the dirt splashed up as he hit it.

Photo shot in raw using my Canon 40D. (using a canon 17-85) This is not a photomanipulation. Raw processing done with Canon Digital Photo Professional and Photo edits were done using Adobe 7.0.

Minor Photo Edits include: White balance setting/picture style, increased sharpness, & converted to JPEG. Updated Contrast/Brightness then cropped. I also took out a 2 unnatural distractions a shade cover at the very top of photo and 1 metal leg from the cover.

Please know that I am willing to do limited custom updates on the photos at request. Including adding words to photo or making any photo a greeting card.
