Approaching the pond, I was in awe at the beauty of these water lillys. The contrast of orange and purple hues just jump out. So then I spotted a small bee inside of one, and said THAT is the shot! This one is meant to be the good one.

Photo shot in raw using my Canon 40D. Slight RAW edits including: White balance setting/picture style, increased sharpness, converted to JPEG. Updated Contrast Brightness then cropped.

The photo was taken on the way up the Hana Highway on the Hawaiian Island of Maui.

For you movie buffs Standing @ this pond look out over the rock in the first from Jurasic Park.
