What does Zen Akita mean?

ZEN it’s about maintaining proper balance in LIFE.

AKITA is the royal Guard dog of Japan. It is a legendary protector of family and symbol of loyalty.

The Name Zen Akita reminds me to Balance my Life and protect what is good in myself and be loyal to my family/friends.

I started taking pictures as a young teenager with various different old school film cameras. I was inspired by my Uncle a 3rd generation Photographer from Europe, I became intrigued with cameras @ a young age. My mother further fueled My romance with the lens as she was a concert photographer.

I have found many things in nature catch my eye; I often see simple beauty in architecture and I have been gifted with an artistic eye.

I had done professional sports photography, professional head shots, advertising photos and capturing the magic during those special days {weddings, events}. My art hangs in corporate boardrooms, print ads, law offices, in the homes of friends / family and I have more art looking for a good home. Thank you for your interest.
