Artist's Description

Here we have an image that was a little fun to take! Taken while out sailing on the boat in Belfast Lough, it was quite a rough day and I wanted to freeze all the action of the waves crashing over the boat, so I set the shutter speed to as fast as it could go, and got down low to the action.

To me, being this low down to the water, as it surges past at high speed it one of the best feelings and views in the world. It can be a bit wet at times however, and with a SDLR that wasnt waterproof this was always on my mind, however, I think I got at least one half decent shot! Hope you like it as much as I did taking it!

Taken with my Nikon DSLR 3100 and edited in Photoshop CS5.
