HMS Caroline, Belfast. Built 1914 and the only surviving ship of the Battle of Jutland in WWI. A truely remarkable ship that will always have a place in my heart.

Taken with my Fijifilm S7000 and edited in Photoshop CS5.

This is terrific. Is it still being resourceful in dry dock?

  • Shes afloat in a dock in Belfast harbour, been there since 1924! Up until last week she was still a commissioned ship in the RN, second oldest only to the Victory. Shes a real piece of living history now. Only ship left to have faught in the battle of Jutland in the 1st World war.
