Taken during my brief stop over in Guernsey, what striked me was just how the entire harbour emptied of water at low tide leaving all the boats high and dry. The place has a huge tidal range.

Taken with my Fujifilm Z200 and edited in CS5.

Exposure: 1/85 sec
f-Stop: f 4.2
ISO: 100

Lovely shot Chris. Great angle, and …oh yes, the tide goes right out! It can also be very high too!

  • Yeah its a massive tidal range! Really suprised me just how much!
