When most people think of boats they think they spend most of their time in the water. This isnt always the case, and it certainly isnt the case with this Rhib moving at high speed over some fairly large waves.
When taking this photo I had to anticipate the movement of the boat through the water, when it was going to hit a wave and when it was going to become airborne. There was a sense of being connected with the coxswain steering the boat as he also had to anticipate the waves, his speed, when the boat was going to be airborne.
