I was born in Chicago on the 02-28-77 I spent my early childhood in San Francisco under the strict yet loving care of my parents. who where Rosicrucian priests.

At a early age i Began to draw using perspective and with lust i tought myself to draw and sculpt.

My parents would never allow action figures or toys that represented war so I began sculpting my own out of bee’s wax and many of the things i resented as a child became the very building blocks of my artistic growth.

As artists I believe it is good for us to express our emotions in art. I know my work tends to be very light and appreciated by people from many different walks but I see beauty in so many of my fellow artists that I myself might not paint. But this does not stop me from deeply appreciating the struggles and life itself that reflect in the artwork of other.

And now that you mention it, I’ve only ever painted one of my partners, and he’s the only man I’ve ever loved with my whole heart and soul and the only one I ever will. Fortunately, he loves the works I’ve rendered of him lol.

Your skill is amazing. I’m sorry to hear that there was a conflict over the nude in the corner but I think the whole piece is incredible…for what it’s worth…:o)

  • Thank you TahnjaI it was quite the experiance all and all….

a real WOW here. This piece is quite unique. I think it would have been good even without the nude figure placed for balance. But this does add intrigue to the final result. Don’t fret about the model taking the final product as insulting. Even John Stewart Sargeant (sp)ran afoul with some of his portraits….

    VERY COOL WORK….

RARELY DO THOSE WHO YOU KNOW WELL APPRECIATE SEEING THEIR LIKENESS PAINTED BY YOU ….IT IS FOR THAT REASON I RARELY EVER DO IT.

I HAVE PAINTED MY GRANDFATHER AND MY GRANDMOTHER …BUT ONLY POSTHUMOUSLY….

I DID PAINT MY FATHER AND MOTHER FROM A WEDDING PHOTO…AND NEITHER OF THEM MUCH CARED FOR IT..:). MOM SAID I MADE HER LOOK TOO FAT…AND DAD SAID HIS HAIR WAS TOO YELLOW…OH WELL.

IN RETROSPECT I THINK IT IS MORE A REFLECTION OF THEIR OWN INSECURITIES THAN THE ACTUAL ART PIECE..;)
