Oil and blood on canvas 8×8 inches. A highly personal painting about hartbreak.
.Broken was a series created in the darkest hours of my life, and as I teetered on the edge of the deepest despair and heartbreak I had ever felt. I channeled it all into drawing and painting, as it was my only voice.
My father had Died a painful death less than a year before in front of my eyes, and the woman I was madly in love with had broken it off hardheartedly opening up my wounds yet again.
I painted three paintings of broken harts in quick succession with the intent on painting more to express how hurt I was. However the violent reaction I was getting from her as she seemed to think I was exposing her secrets which was not the case made me stop the series at three.
I was born in Chicago on the 02-28-77 I spent my early childhood in San Francisco under the strict yet loving care of my parents. who where Rosicrucian priests.
At a early age i Began to draw using perspective and with lust i tought myself to draw and sculpt.My parents would never allow action figures or toys that represented war so I began sculpting my own out of bee’s wax and many of the things i resented as a child became the very building blocks of my artistic growth.

Your most recent work is leaps and bounds surpassing the first few image where Dali is the main influence. I think you are finding your true style. Very nice.
