This old cedar barn in Mount Vernon, Washington is starting to show her age in the fading light of another day gone by. She might be aged, but she is still in use. The broken down trees are the result of a recent winter storm.

Born and raised in the logging town of Snoqualmie, Washington (the logging days in Snoqualmie are mostly in the past now). I currently reside in Issaquah, Washington. My Canon Rebel 450D was a Christmas gift that has kept on giving me hours and hours of pleasure. I recently aquired a Canon 5D Mark II and I am now learning to use this awesome instument. I hope you enjoy these pictures half as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

Nice find Dale. I think you’re catching up.:) Beautiful sky too!

  • Thanks Sheryl! I got a lot of shots this weekend that I am trying to sort through as time allows me too! So many captures to be made and published and so little dang time! Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it! :-) I gotta stay busy if I am going to keep up now ;-), so back to the darkroom with me!

I would rather see tattered boards than wrinkles in the mirror! LOL! This is beautifully composed!

  • Haha! Me too! There is no problem here, I just shave in the dark! Thanks for the kind comment and the chuckle :-)

Very good catch! The pink fingers in the sky really enhance the shot!

  • Thanks Pauline I wasn’t sure I got it, but it turned out better than I expected.
