This maple tree lives just outside of Duvall, Washington. In the foothills of the cascades there are areas that have true rain forest like conditions. The greens are nearly neon. I was drawn to this tree by its crazy tangled limbs, which, in the fog, looked like they could come to life and reach for me at at moment.

Born and raised in the logging town of Snoqualmie, Washington (the logging days in Snoqualmie are mostly in the past now). I currently reside in Issaquah, Washington. My Canon Rebel 450D was a Christmas gift that has kept on giving me hours and hours of pleasure. I recently aquired a Canon 5D Mark II and I am now learning to use this awesome instument. I hope you enjoy these pictures half as much as I enjoyed capturing them!
